1st New Zealand Hindu Conference - Address of in the Inaugural Session
Hon'ble dignitaries on the dais, ladies and gentlemen. While invoking the powers of the single dynamic cosmic energy, which exists in every one of us and binds us all in a common thread, I on behalf of Hindu Heritage Pratishthan, India welcome you all on this bright morning in the beautiful land of the long white cloud.
This conference has more significance today then ever before, because of the global challenges to every existing heritage in a flat new world and the e-age. In the conference we propose to find ways and means to seek comprehensive approach to cultural harmonization, universal peace, human unification and individual bliss.
The phenomenal commitment of the Hon'ble Prime Minister to art, culture and heritage and her very powerful political will, has created the fine balance between historical facts and sustainable development, between nature conservation & free economics and between nuclear threats & global peace. Since the burden of all this must be shared by the local communities, non-governmental organizations and academicians, through a successful dialogue, we have all gathered together here, to make an attempt to understand the undercurrents of this all, which effects every one of us, we multifaceted and multi-linguistic beings living in a pluralistic society.
Let history remember this day as the day when people rose out of their stupor and joined together as a force united to help the mankind.
Let history remember this day as the day when evil, chaos and disharmony had a shock for the first time in this age and never could lie in peace thereafter, till it was laid in peace.
Let history remember
this day as the day when humanity stopped making excuses, took their
life in control and ascend its journey to the ultimate.
Long live humanity peacefully, harmoniously and blissfully...
Thank you and wish you all the best of luck.
Aruneshwar Gupta
President, Hindu Heritage Pratishthan
