Think, Reflect and Act - 4 - 9/11
The clock of civilization has been set back to medieval ages when the blood thirsty jehads and religious crusades used to take place in the name of upholding one faith over the other. The forward march of civilization is linked with the rise and spread of enlightened liberalism, humanism and tolerance. The attack on peaceful citizens is an attack on the notion of liberalism and humanity itself and we hope that while taking counter measures these values are not forgotten. Otherwise the chain of reaction and retribution is going to be disastrous, something unheard of and unseen in the history of mankind after mahabharat. But, one thing is certain the forces have to be re-aliened in the fight between terrorism and peace loving harmonized society.
The Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains and others who themselves are champion of the values of humanism, tolerance and peace all over the world, must unite with the forces which champion values of liberalism, humanity and peace so that the mankind is not led to an illogical warfare which will effect the humanity for generations to come and to help foster and maintain peace, harmony and brotherhood at this critical juncture at the turn of the century when everybody feels that world will not be the same hereafter as death knell of catastrophe has rung.
